Postgraduate Funding Options
We have a collection of postgraduate funding options available
With a variety of funding options available to help with fees and living expenses, finding the funding for postgraduate study may not be as hard as you think.
For postgraduate students wanting to study at the 丝瓜视频, we have the following funding options:
Postgraduate Loan
A postgraduate loan is:
- a contribution towards the costs of study, that is, it will be at the student鈥檚 discretion to use the loan towards fees, maintenance costs or other costs
- non-means tested
- paid directly to the student into a UK bank account.
The loan amount changes annually and is subject to change by the government.
Master鈥檚 Loans
Postgraduate loans are available from the government to help fund a master鈥檚 degree.
The loan available for 2023/24 is up to 拢12,167 which could be used to pay course fees and living costs.
It is not based on your or your family鈥檚 income, and it鈥檚 paid directly to you. You can also get extra support if you have a disability. Whether you qualify depends on your course, age and nationality or residency status.
Postgraduate Doctoral Loans
A Postgraduate Doctoral Loan can help with course fees and living costs while you study a postgraduate doctoral course, such as a PhD.
If you鈥檙e starting a doctoral degree on or after 1 August 2023, you could get a postgraduate doctoral loan of up to 拢28,673 to help with course fees and living costs.
It is not based on your or your family鈥檚 income and it鈥檚 paid directly to you.
You can also get extra support if you have a disability.
International Scholarships and Loans
We have a range of scholarships available specifically for international students to help fund their postgraduate studies.
Successful applicants will receive a reduction applied to their course fees. The amount and eligibility criteria varies between scholarships. See the link below to learn more.
